She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Allen Gosney, Sr. and Florence Estell Cook; and her brother Houston Allen Gosney, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Ervin Wayne Davis; and her husband Charles Carlton Slayton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
