She was predeceased by: her brother Roger Clyde Hutcherson; and her great grandchild Gavin Coleman Davis. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Simmons of Keeling; and her children, Danny Chilton (Pat) of Keeling, Randy Chilton (Kaye) of Danville and Cindy Donovant (Ray) of Fieldale. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
