He is survived by: his wife Vickie Reagan Strader; his daughters, Adrienne Michelle Oakes of Danville and Hannah Frances Strader of Keeling, Virginia; his sisters, Debra Shaw (Daryl) of Yanceyville and Faye Shelton (Terry) of Eden; his grandchildren, Camden Oakes and Kaylee Overby; and his close friend Jason Burke (Denise). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
