It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Dixon Matze of Keysville, Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Betty Dixon Matze to show support.

She was predeceased by : her father Clyde J. Dixon, Jr.; and her son James Earl Garrett. She is survived by : her husband Louis B. Matze; her daughter Brittany Rutledge (Timothy); her mother Marian E. Wilmouth; her grandchildren, Jaythan Rutledge, Tiffany Lee and Jamie Brooke Bush; and her daughter-in-law Tammy Miller. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Southside SPCA, P O Box 66, Meherrin, VA 23954.
