With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Curtis Wayne Tharpe (Keysville, Virginia), who passed away on February 18, 2016. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Kermit Tharpe and Irene Tharpe of Drakes Branch; and his siblings, Kermit David Tharpe and Joyce Tharpe Nichols. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Guill Tharpe; his children, Beverly Tharpe Kunath Kerwin, Mike Sherry and Chris Elaine; his grandchildren, Cody, Lauren, Lindsey, Cameron, Brandy, Casey, Collin and Curstan; and his brothers, Wade "Lit", James Ann and Harold Margaret. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
