In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard A. shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard A. farewell, we carry with us the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding us through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by : his mother Lillian Brinkley Byrum of South Norfolk; and his brother James Koziana. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Davis Koziana; his daughter Shelly Koziana of Suffolk, VA; and his siblings, Vince Koziana, Tony Koziana and Maria Koziana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Albert J. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Meherrin SPCA or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
