It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland J. Bright (Lawrenceville, Virginia), who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bright and Mary Lee Bright; his wife Elsie Lee Bright; and his siblings, Lonnie Mae House, Harrell, Joe Lewis and Jerome Bright.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Hines (Christopher, Sr.) of Emporia, VA, Loretta, Tyrone and Jefferson Bright; his grandchildren, Christopher Jr. of Chesapeake, VA, Christy Hines of Raleigh, NC, Calicia Hines and Isaiah Bright of Emporia, VA; his great grandchild Kynnedi of Chesapeake, VA; his siblings, Leon Bright and Ann Stewart; and his siblings-in-law, Ethel Wilkins and Garland House, Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
