He is survived by: his daughter Martha Newell Fletcher; his siblings, Nancy Green, Herman and Gilbert; his granddaughter Chiquita Garnes (Tisa); his great grandchild Done; his children, Dorothy (Robert), Sterling (Grace) of Blackridge, VA and Shevon (Kio) of Lawrenceville, VA; his sisters, Teresa White (James) of Blackridge, VA and Florence Hickson of Brooklyn; his grandchildren, Derick (Angela), Tammy (Marc), Shanon, Quiasha, Terrell (Nikki), Diante' (Lateefah) and Shante; and his nephew Johnny H. Newell Jr.. He is also survived by 16 great- grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
