He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carrington and Bertha Carrington; his wife Virginia Carrington; his siblings, Ernest, Oscar Carrington, Henrietta Walker, Glady Stith and Mae Green; and his grandchildren, Jeffery Green and Darlene Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Carrington Jr., Robert (Doreatha), Ellen Woodley (Jasper), Sally Hill, Virginia, Bertha Cleaton (John), William Carrington (Bertie), Gloria, Ernest Carrington (Lillie) and James Carrington (Jacqueline); and his great-nephew William Wyche. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
