It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Rebecca Ray of Lebanon, Virginia, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rachel Rebecca may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rachel Rebecca touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Ray and Joan Cleo Hess Ray; and her siblings, Sharon Ray, Sherman Ray Jr. and Graham Ray.
She is survived by: her siblings, Carolyn Ray (Ernie), Ginger Hughes and David Ray. She is also survived by canine companion, "Luck Dog"; several nieces and nephews.
