He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Mae Broyles Ratcliff; his parents, Wirt Rowe and Nellie Gray Ratcliff; his siblings, Marvin Ratcliff, James Ratcliff, Virginia Clark Hazen and Maymie Sue Turner; and his parents-in-law, Haven and Pearl Skeens Broyles.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Ratcliff, Drema Copeland (Don), Cathy Moon (Denny) and Debbie Drewry (Ray); his grandchildren, Mark, Kevin, Ramona, Jeffrey, Justin, Clinton, Dedra, Nichole and Casey; his great grandchildren, Mitchell, Mason, Mallory, Savannah, Cole, Lane, Ian, Evan, Arron, Kierstyn, Kenzi, Ava, Spencer, Preston, Carter, Bella and Grayson; and his siblings, Louise Ratcliff Southerland and Jerry Ratcliff (Sonny). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
