He was predeceased by : his parents, William Columbus and Mattie Leona Davis Hawks; his granddaughter Nikki Hawks; and his siblings, Ruby Blakely, Myrtle Head, Julia White, Flora Martin, Jay Hawks and James Hawks.
He is survived by : his son Eddie Hawks (Yvonne) of Lexington; his granddaughter Kailee (Daniel Powers) of Lexington; his great grandchildren, Peyton Hawks, Gracie Cope, Madison Hawks, Kaycee Hawks, Chloe Fine, Ryder Fine and Hudson Morgan; and his sister Lou Leonard of Cana, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Attendees are requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or a charity of the donor's choice.
