John Simmons Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Simmons of Linden, Virginia, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Benjamin and Ruby Bell Johnston Simmons; his grandson Scott Simmons; and his siblings, Thomas, Marion "Ladybug", Ray "Winky", Annette "Doodle", Linda, James "Jim" and Pat "Tootie".
He is survived by: his significant other Ruth D. Simmons; his sons, John (Lora), Ken (Mandy) and Brian (Tracy); his grandson Kenny (Alex); and his sister-in-law Linda Simmons.
Due to COVID restrictions temperature checks and masks will be required to enter building; seating is limited.
