She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin D. Showalter and Sallie E. Showalter (Shank); her husband Howard D. Hartman; her foster sister Naomi Shank Brunk; and her siblings, Clayton D, David E, Alma M (Hartzler), Eula M and Vada E. Showalter.
She is survived by: her children, Sallie Ruth (Hartman), Rohrer (Jay), Joseph Howard Hartman (Donna) and James Ervin Hartman (Ramona). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
