She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward and Mary; her brother Billy Bierlein; her daughter-in-law Lisa Butler; and her nephews, Stephen and Craig Bierlein.
She is survived by : her husband John Butler; her children, Pam Emery (Tim), Duane Butler (Valerie) and Kenny Butler (Asia); her granddaughters, Kristi Clark (Ethan), Jessica Hall (Corey), Danielle McNett (Josh), Allison Butler and Kylie Butler; her great grandchildren, Isabella Sellers, Colton Hall, Theodore "Teddy" Clark and Serenity Sellers; her brother Curtis Bierlein (Jeannitta); and her sister-in-law Donna Bierlein.
The family wishes in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911 in memory of Mary Butler.
