He was predeceased by : his parents, Bea Stone and Mattie Hall Stone; and his siblings, Ryland Stone, Sr., Willie Henry Stone, Charlie Stone, Jack Freeman, Christine Gilbert, Flossie Dickerson, Beulah Martin, Cora Boone and Gracie Ward.

He is survived by : his wife Annie G. Stone; his children, George Davis (Brenda) of Gretna, Donnie Stone (Betty) of Gretna, Kenneth Stone (Teresa) of Manassas, Virginia, Evangelist Caryleen Henderson of Hurt, Joyce Logan (Terry) of Gretna and Linda Elam (Jerrie) of Evington, Virginia; and his sisters, JoAnn Stone of Gretna, Dena Gregory of Danville, Virginia Martin of Altavista and Mildred Martin of Long Island, Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (668 Zion Rd, Gretna, VA 24557). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Miracle Revival Fellowship Holiness Church (720 Cedar Forest Rd, Long Island, VA 24569).
