He is survived by : his wife Lauretta Russell; his daughters, Phyllis Russell, Epting Russell-Jeffries and Jeanette Russell-Jeffries; his granddaughters, Alexia Kynard of Atlanta, GA, Rosalyn Jeffries, Bennett of Lorton, VA, LauRae Kynard, Upchurch of Lorton, VA, Andrea Jeffries and Simpson of Gulfport, MS; his brother Elder Osceola Russell (Brenda) of Hampton, VA; his stepmother Edna Russell; and his great grandchildren, Bettye Hutt, Marilynn Gardner, Dorothy McAlister of Phoenix, AZ, Joey Eason, John Odoms, Joyce Winfree, Anise Burton, Robert Odoms (Jennifer) of Dayton, OH and Dennis Odoms (Leona). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
