He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beverly Dooley, Sr. and Katherine Melcher Dooley. He is survived by: his wife Judy Yoon Dooley; his children, Chanelle Dooley Gonzalez (Marco) of Woodacre, CA, Alex Yoon of Alexandria, VA and Christina Yoon Perez (Fernand) of Lorton, VA; his grandsons, Ernie Gonzales and Lucas Perez; and his siblings, Beverly Dooley Jones (Forrest) of Charleston, WV, Robert "Bob" Dooley (Dedie) of Troutman, NC and Mary Katherine "Katie" Dooley Broadright of Westerville, OH. He is also survived by aunt, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as Judy's extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Home of JIM and Judy Dooley of Jim (9352 Occoquan Overlook Dr, Lorton, VA 22079). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (114 N Oakwood Dr, Statesville, NC 28677). A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home of Bob and Dedie Dooley (245 Stillwater Rd, Troutman, NC 28166).
