She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Christian and Lillian Christian; and her sisters, Elizabeth Carter and Dale Christian. She is survived by: her husband Jessie A. Capps Sr.; her sons, Jesse A. Capps Jr. (Loretta), Joseph W. Capps (Rena) and Michael A. Capps (Angela); her grandchildren, Jeremy Capps, Savannah Rice, Adrianna Capps and Rafe Capps; and her sister Doris Simmons. She is also survived by her family and will be missed by her husband and three sons.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cross Baptist Church (1700 James St, Lynchburg, VA 24501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
