We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2023, at the age of 92, Katherine Evelyn Wood of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Griselda Taliaferro and Gabriel E. Taliaferro; her husband Harry Wood; her siblings, Barbara J. Taliaferro, Donald (Evelyn), Gabriel, Marvin (Elizabeth), Waverly (Millie) and Dexter Taliaferro (Adele); and her nephews, Linwood Taliaferro (Sounjanette) and Richard Taliaferro.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Morelli (Domenic) of Magnolia; her grandson George Ford of Secaucus, N. J.; her sisters, Lydia G. Taliaferro of Lynchburg and Marjorie Jean Taliaferro of Lynchburg; her nephew Marvin E. Taliaferro Pittsburgh (Lorraine); her cousin L. H. Franklin Lynchburg (Carolyn); and also Clayton Taliaferro. She is also survived by grandnephews, grandnieces, and a host of loving friends.
