She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Brodie Carwile and Evie Lou Hunter Carwile; and her brother Robert Terrell Carwile. She is survived by : her husband Emmett V. Parks; her sons, Jerry Scott of Lynchburg and Stuart Scott of Tempe, AZ; her stepson Gregory Parks of Coos Bay, OR; her grandchildren, Mark Scott, Dawn Utz, Bridgett Matson and Dustin Scott; and her great grandchildren, Ashley Scott, Danielle Utz, Kacie Utz, Grayson Matson and Brinley Matson. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society.
