He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kenneth Nichols, Sr. and Lois Dowdy Nichols of Huddleston. He is survived by: his wife Geri; his siblings, Barry (Marie), Phillip (Lisa) and Rebecca Wille (Scott); his stepchildren, Tracy Fabian (Mark), Crystal Poston (Todd) and Rodney Thompson; his stepgrandchildren, Randyl Dodd (Robbie), Aaron Fabian (Isabelle), Allison Poston, Benjamin Pace, Evan Pace, Delaney Poston and Devan Thompson; his nephews, Cory and Ryan Nichols; his niece Sierra Nichols; his uncle Wayne Dowdy; his aunts, Jeanette Harris and Betty Hawkins; and his friend Nick. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mentow Baptist Church Cemetery (3282 Mentow Dr, Huddleston, VA 24104). Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Family Home.
