She was predeceased by: her parents, George Creasy and Mamie Creasy; her husband Jack Whitehead; her sons, Ricky Whitehead and Moriah Whitehead; and her siblings, George Creasy, Richard Creasy and Violet Ellington.
She is survived by: her children, Rosa Jordan (Jim) of Monroe, Andy Whitehead (Jane) of Lynchburg and Sharon Connelly (Danny) of Madison Heights; her grandchildren, Brandy, Jamie, Chris, Alex, Patience and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Reed, Sophie, Harper, Samantha, Kenda, Zoe, Alex, Kaytlynn and Jordan; her great great grandchild Penelope; her sister Marie Moore of Lynchburg; and her friend Rachel Lindsey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Whitten Monelison Chapel (3966 S Amherst Hwy, Madison Heights, VA 24572). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions to be made to Elon Baptist Church, 145 Younger Drive, Madison Heights, VA 24572.
