He was predeceased by: his parent Floyd McDaniel (Kenny); his siblings, Andrew McDaniel (Buck), James McDaniel (Spud) and Liona McDaniel; and his son-in-law Richard Fillings.
He is survived by: his parent Virginia Berry McDaniel; his wife Jean Breeden McDaniel of Madison; his daughters, Brenda Fillings of Mineral, VA, Deborah McDaniel of Kingwood and Donna Strickler (Scott) of Kingwood; his sister Alice Marshall (Charles) of Orange, VA.; his granddaughters, Robin Robinson (Lonnie) of Annapolis, MD and Emily Strickler of Kingwood; his great grandchild Alexandra Robinson of Annapolis, MD.; and his sister-in-law Betty Weakley (Granville) of Madison, VA..
