She is survived by: her mother Alvira Banister; her brother Donald Grant; her spouse Don Eugene Detmer; her daughters, Catz LeBlanc and Emily Ingrao; her son-in-law Fabio; her grandchildren, Beau LeBlanc, Alessandro Ingrao and Isabella Ingrao; her brothers, Daniel Cleavenger and Douglas Cleavenger; her child Bia Mary; and also, Grant Jr and Helen McFerson, Jr..
She asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions to the Hospice of the Piedmont would be appreciated, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911, http://www.hopva.org . A service will be held at the University Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 to honor her memory.
