He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence A. Kattner Sr. and Alice Kattner (Waitkus); his siblings, Francis, William and Sara Ann; and his grandson Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Monica Mezlo; and his children, Mary Lynn McGaffic (Terry), Deborah Visger (Rick), Marie Sullivan (Patrick), Lawrence III (Lucinda), Allison Barnes (John) and Michelle Federline (Tom). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (9300 Stonewall Rd, Manassas, VA 20110-2566). The military honors will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Stonewall Memory Gardens (12004 Lee Hwy, Manassas, VA 20109). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the same location.
