She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Amos and Alice Mae Butler Amos; her husband James Elmore Cox; and her siblings, Margaret Crosslin (Edwin), Julia Daniel (Ashby), Robert (Della), Roy and Earl (Nancy Amos).
She is survived by : her children, Debra Cox Gibson of Louisa and James Anthony Cox (Kathy) of Culpeper; and her grandchildren, R. J. Gibson (Kristy Brown) of Spotsylvania, Brett Gibson (Brookelynn) of St. Louis, Kendall of Culpeper and Delanie Cox of Culpeper.
