She was predeceased by: her parents, Huey Denton Boardwine and Thelma Guinn Boardwine; her husband James Walter Shelton; her daughter Tanna Fitzgerald; and her brother Mackie Boardwine.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Morris and Freddie Shelton (Tina); her siblings, Peggy Fulcher, Darleen Willard (Ernest), Susie Hopkins, Denton Boardwine and Danny Boardwine (Jay); and her grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Hall, Christopher Lee Hall (Christy), Jonathan P. Shelton (Anna), Amanda Dawn Lineberry (Chris), Terah Cloud and Jamie Brooke Fitzgerald. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
