She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Wells and Irene Manns; her husband William Hagwood; her son Jessie Wells; and her sisters, Evelyn Vaughn, Martha Vaughn, Elizabeth Wells and Camellia Vaughn.
She is survived by: her children, Tamika Williamson (Reggie), Elizabeth Solomon (Woodrow) and Christopher Wells; her siblings, Shedrick Wells, Floyd Wells, Jenny Wimbush and Mildred France; and her grandchildren, Jemontae Finney, Rasean Seay, Deontae Williamson, Adre Manns, Denisha Solomon and Dante Solomon. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
