He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Holland and Mary Victoria Woods Holland; his wife Nannie Williamson Holland; his daughter Melissa "Jackie" Gravely; and his siblings, Grace Gibbens, Mary Smith, Lizzie Thaxton, Ann Harvey, Florence Jones, Ida Kidd, James Holland, Earnest Holland, Basil Holland, Millard Holland, Hubert Holland, Alex Holland, Clarence Holland and John Robert "Pete" Holland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vanessa H. Millner (Harvey) of Martinsville, VA and Victoria Holland of Greensboro, NC; and his caregiver Lula Hairston of Martinsville, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the C. R. V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112).
