It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Cochran (Martinsville, Virginia), born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on April 5, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ivan and Ruby Thelma Stevens Harris; her husband William H. Cochran, Jr.; her daughter Donna C. Pulliam; and her siblings, Edward Milton, Lionel Douglas, Jack Harris and Gene Agee.
She is survived by: her children, William H. Cochran III, Kerri C. Ambrosi and Jean Marie C. Jarrett; and her siblings, Asa Conway, Arlie Ted Harris, Lucille Saundra Stephens and Ramona H. Lawson. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, along with several nephews and nieces.
The family was requested that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1079 Spruce Street, Martinsville, Virginia 24112.
