She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Mason and Anna Mason; and her husband Alexander Delano Hairston. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Jones (Alfred), Patsy Hairston (Darryl), Anna Hairston, Brenda Pool, Bobbie Hairston, Rennie Hairston, Sr. (Willie Ann), Ernest Hairston and Vell Hairston; and her sister Mary Porter. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Cross Church (938 Brookdale St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
