She was predeceased by : her parents, James Ralph Wilson and Margie Mozzelle Hawks Moore; and her stepfather Carl Moore. She is survived by : her son Michael Watkins (Apryl); her grandchildren, Nataly Oliver and Quynn Snyder; and her sisters, Joyce Farmer (Sonny) and Annie Jean Pickerel. She is also survived by family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at the Susie Hawks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA and the American Alzheimer's Association.
