It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Ruth Hairfield Lemons of Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Daniel Hairfield, Sr. and Ester Mae Bingman Hairfield; her husband Charles Alfred Lemons; her daughter Cheryl Ann Lemons; and her brothers, Luther Daniel, Hairfield, Jr., Harry Marshall Hairfield, Obediah Hairfield and Henry Harvey Hairfield.
She is survived by : her sons, Charles Edward Lemons (Brenda) of Winston-Salem, NC, Alfred Ray Lemons of Capron, VA and Joseph Hairfield Lemons of Navarre, FL; her grandchildren, Robert Lemons (Emily) of Clemmons, NC, Jessica Ruth Lemons of Roanoke, VA, Amanda Rebecca Le (Chuong) of Fairfax, VA, Ashton Lemons of Stillwater, OK, Kyra Rose Lemons of London, OH and Caleb Lemons of Navarre, FL; and her great grandchildren, Ellie Le of Fairfax, VA, Emma Paige Gum of Roanoke, VA, Bobby Lemons (Jill) of Winston-Salem, NC and Wesley Lemons of Durham, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
