It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Furey of Mathews, Virginia, who passed away on July 2, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Furey and Thomas Furey; and his brothers, Thomas, John and Bradford Furey.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Brown Furey; his sisters, Margaret and Carol; and his daughters, Theresa Eigenbrode, Carolyn Benton and Madeleine Land. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
