She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Steuer and Jessie Steuer; her husband Marvin B. Armstead; her siblings, Maggie Stevens, Vernelle Foster, Nellie Foster and Elwood Steuer; and her son-in-law Stephen Brownley.

She is survived by : her daughter Violet Brownley; her granddaughter Katrina Ottinger (Jason); and her great grandchild Haven. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
