He is survived by: his wife Sibbie Akers; his sisters, Barbara Morrison of Staunton, VA and Phyllis Kirby of Ft. Chiswell, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Davis (Ann) of Wytheville, VA, Edsel Davis of York, PA and Mary Rosenbaum of Ft. Chiswell, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.
