We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2018, at the age of 82, Lucy Howdyshell (McDowell, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Twila Hicklin (Phillips); her husbands, William Andrew Neil and Alfred Howdyshell; her son Thomas Andrew Neil; and her siblings, Lee Hicklin, Martha Jenkins and Sue Howdyshell.
She is survived by: her parent Rosser Stuart Hicklin; her children, Stuart Neil, Glenna Neil, David Neil, Franny Neil and Patricia Wright of McDowell; her son-in-law John Wright of McDowell; her stepchildren, Ina Turner (Eddie) of Swoope, Rachel McElwee of Hot Springs, Betty Schooler of Staunton and Faye Harold of Warrenton; her sisters, Lucille Neil of McDowell and Marie Eisenhower of Selma; her grandchildren, Amy Good (Tim), Timmy Neil (Meagan), Carrie Hofflinger (Jon), Kevin Neil (Keri) and Katie Wright; and her great grandchildren, Zalea, Elijah, Amelia, Creed, Hensley, Lane, Lexi, Tori, Noah, Kristina, Kaden and Kolyn.
