She was predeceased by: her parent James Oscar; her children, Donna Sue Propst Buzzard and Douglas Wayne Propst; and her siblings, John Harper Shaffier, Leroy Oscar Shaffier, Clarence "Crack" Harrington Shaffier, Vernon Grey Shaffier, Elizabeth Parker, Margaret Corbett and Juanita Meade.

She is survived by: her parent Lucy Shaffier (Hise); her spouse William "Arlie" Propst; her son Dale Propst; her daughter-in-law Helen "Tittle" Propst of Warm Springs; her grandchildren, James Buzzard (Brittany) of Appomattox, Trista Randozzo (Joe) of Warm Springs, Dalton Propst (Hannah) of Warm Springs, Daren Propst of Warm Springs and Dusty Propst of Hot Springs; her great grandchildren, Walker Randozzo of Warm Springs, Timber Ryder of Warm Springs, Piper Ryder of Warm Springs, Dallas of Warm Springs, Isabella of Warm Springs, Dash Propst of Warm Springs and Kylee Propst of Buchanan; and her brother Julian Shaffier (Peggy) of Warm Springs. She is also survived by several brothers- and sisters-in-law; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
