He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Clayton Lawson and Verrell Lawson Birt of McGaheysville. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Lawson; his children, Kandy and Eli; his pet Sasha; his sisters, Allie (John Crawford) of Rocky Bar and Jean Stanley of Shenandoah; his sister-in-law Juanita; and his grandson Michael.
