She was predeceased by : her parents, David G. Kyger and Edna V. Shifflett Kyger; her husband Herbert Lee Mowbray; and her siblings, Lewis Wilford Kyger, Oliver Kyger, Arnold F. Kyger, Chris Kyger, Odessa Harlow, Lethia Kyger and Lula Evelyn Kyger.

She is survived by : her sisters, Hilda Mae Lam of Harrisonburg and Ruth Alice Shifflett of Elkton; and her niece Jessica Kyger of Roanoke. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
