She was predeceased by : her parents, Garland "Bozo" and Beatrice Smiley Howdyshell; her siblings, Jim Howdyshell and Ginger Wright; and her brother-in-law Donald Auville.

She is survived by : her husband Joseph Clarence Lam; her children, Julie Lam of McGaheysville, Karen Lowe (Michael) of Mt. Sidney and Stephen Lam (Mandy) of Broadway; her siblings, Doug Howdyshell (Katherine) of Moneta, Dana Howdyshell (Debbie) of Mt. Solon and Kathy Auville of Briery Branch; her brother-in-law Tom Wright of Sangersville; her grandchildren, Ryan Skelton, Devin Skelton (Rebecca), Josh Skelton, Arianna Skelton, Morgan Lowe, Natalie Lam, Jenna Lam and Makayla Lam; and her great grandchildren, Liam Skelton, Elijah Skelton, Ryker Skelton, Bailey Kemp and Isabelle Pence. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
