With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Ann Steffey of McGaheysville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2025 at the age of 85. As Linda Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Linda Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Linda Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert G. Steffey; and her son Scott Steffey. She is survived by: her daughter Sheri Snyder (Gary Snyder); her grandson Matthew Snyder (Maria); her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Jacob; her granddaughter Lindsay Snyder Reyes (Gabriel); her great grandchildren, Sunnie and Summer; and her daughter Virginia.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
