She was predeceased by : her parents, William Jones and Ruth Brinkly; her husband Gilbert Wayne Ransom; her stepfather Maso "Diddy" White; and her siblings, Alma Griffin, Juanita Morrison and William "Bubba" Ferguson.

She is survived by : her children, Charles Ferguson, Sr. (Marilyn), Phillip Ransom, William Ferguson (Lois), Gerald Ransom (Amanda), Mark Asa Ferguson, Nicole Garcia (Juan), Yulonda Ferguson, Veronica Lewis (Justin), Lynette Ransom and Vickie Ransom; and her siblings, Carroll Porter, Shirley Jones, Lonnie Ferguson, Johnny Ferguson and Vernon Jones. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Facial coverings and social distancing will be required for the health of others.
