She was predeceased by : her parents, William Rook and Lula Rook; her husband John Irvin Wells; and her siblings, Jean Marie Rook, Mary Ferguson, Martha Delbridge, Vanice Delbridge, Dallas of Shelton, W. L., Hubert and Marvin Rook.

She is survived by : her sons, Walter Wells (Tina) and Stephen Wells (Michelle); her sisters, Betty Cook and Alma Wrenn; and her nieces, Faye Rader and Jean Colston.
