It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Elizabeth Bell Blackwell of McKenney, Virginia, who passed away on August 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her siblings, Alma-Lee, Ester, Margaret, Erma, Marilyn, James and Wilbert Bell; her grandson Fabian Fields, Jr. (Chassity); her great grandchildren, Pierre, Paris and Jonah; her sisters, Catherine Walker (Charles) of Suitland, MD and Connie Graine of McKenney; her nieces, Lena Buford and Conisha Graine; and her nephew Albert Moore.

She is survived by : her close friend Jesus; her great-niece Theresa Graves (Xavier); her great-nephew James Bell; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Blackwell, Suzanne Blackwell and Florence Blackwell; and her close friends, Rozelia Dean and Alma Roberts.

Sarah attended daily South Richmond Adult Day Care Center until the COVID-19 pandemic.

She lived in her home in McKenney until the progressive disease of Alzheimer's attacked her life.
