It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Lee Coleman of Dinwiddie, Virginia, born in Petersburg, Virginia, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her siblings, Waverly T. Lee, Jr., Willie A. Lee, John W. Lee, Louise E. Gilliam, Shirley M. McKellar and Betty M. Samuel.

She is survived by : her husband Charles L. Coleman; her sons, Byron J. Coleman (Jamie) of Powhatan and Durrell D. Coleman (Casey) of Colonial Heights; her grandchildren, Nova and Elias; her siblings, Dorothy M. Greene, Mary E. Lee of Petersburg and David T. Lee of Petersburg; and her siblings-in-law, Rorris Coleman, Kenneth Coleman, Debbera Coleman and Dennette Byrd. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the BIG Bethel Baptist Church (10110 Marguerita D Ragsdale St, McKenney, VA 23872).
