It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Hassen Bey (McKenney, Virginia), born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her mother Vellma Guy; her husband Julius Perry; her children, Tianee HassenBey-Williams (Melvin) of Plainfield, NJ, Taryn Jones of Chesterfield, VA, Jeff Perry (Terresa) of Chester, VA and Cheryl Echols (Jeffrey) of Edison, NJ; and her sisters, Lillian Prescott, Charlesetta Bynes and Nora Dunn of New Jersey. She was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
