We bid farewell to Bernard Jones of Mechanicsville, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 11, 2025 at the age of 73. Bernard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Jones and Joyce Jones; and his wives, Kathryn Little Jones and Carol Ann Crew Jones. He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Jones (Angela) and Dylan Jones (Emily); his stepchildren, Vanessa Best and Courtney Strickland (Josh); his grandchildren, Mackenzie and Hollee Jones; his stepgrandchildren, Campbell Best, Brayden and McKenna Strickland; his sister Sandra Kerr (Bruce); his nieces, Cynthia Kerr and F. Leah Chandler (Matt); his great-nieces, Kerri and Breanna Chandler; and his great-nephew Steven Chandler. He is also survived by many other neighbors, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Virginia Tech Alumni Association or the American Cancer Society.
