John C. Clarke III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John C. Clarke III of Mechanicsville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Ridgway Clarke. He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia C. Dunn (Rob) and Stephanie C. Smith (Herbert); his grandchildren, Bobby, Matthew, Jonathan and Beverly; his great grandchildren, Dakota and Ridge; and his siblings, Thomas Clarke and Connie Wooddruff (K. C.). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, http://www.cancer.org.
